Cognizant Digital Bank
As the sole designer on a two-week project, I was given the task of designing a visually appealing digital bank app project using our company's colors and brand guidelines. The ultimate goal of the project was for our client to showcase the design to potential clients and generate interest in their digital banking offerings.
Design Process
I began the project by conducting user research to understand the needs of the company's target audience. I also reviewed the company's brand guidelines to ensure that my designs would be consistent with the company's overall brand identity.
After gathering this information, I began to brainstorm ideas for the design of the app. I sketched out a number of different concepts and then created high-fidelity mockups of my favorite ideas.
Design Explorations
During the design phase, I faced several challenges, including the limited timeline and the need to incorporate our company's colors and brand guidelines while still maintaining a modern look and feel. However, I leveraged my skills in color theory and design principles to create a visually stunning app that seamlessly integrated our company's branding.
I presented the Log In design options to the client, highlighting the user-centric design approach, the app's modern look and feel, and its seamless integration with our company's branding. The client was impressed and praised my ability to meet the project's tight deadline while still delivering high-quality designs that aligned with their vision. They made their final design selection and I started working on the High Yield Saving Account (HYSA) Design and Flows.
HYSA Onboarding Designs
The design was a success, and the clients were very happy with the results. After finalizing the HYSA designs and getting positive feedback I also got to work on HYSA for existing users and some Plaid designs for immediate, same day and automated client verifications.
I was also very happy with the results of the project. I was able to demonstrate my ability to design a visual appealing digital bank app project using company colors and brand guidelines. I was also able to work independently and successfully complete a project on a tight deadline.
Conclusion
This project was a great opportunity for me to demonstrate my design skills and abilities. I was able to successfully complete a project on a tight deadline, and I was able to work independently and meet the client's expectations.
